How to Donate An E-Sim

w/ the cartoonist co-op

Donate an e-Sim to someone in Palestine and get art from one of the Cartoonist Co-Op cartoonists in exchange, like Orion Fern AKA Ovaettr!

The #ConnectingHumanity campaign supplies E-Sims to people on the ground in Gaza, allowing them to circumvent internet disruption/blackout during the siege and continue connecting with the wider internet.

on the vetting process...

The families on this page are vetted by Molly Shah, and by me, in the fact that we have spoken to these families directly via BlueSky. What innocent Palestinian civilians are enduring is horrible, it is genocide. We must be brave enough to call out what we see in truth and do all we can to support those suffering, those most vulnerable. Why? Because in the future, everyone will have been against this.

We are focusing on five families that we have spoken to the most on BlueSky over the course of the last 2 years.

FAMILIES IN NEED OF DIRECT DONATIONS

Sahar & Odai

Odai is the young child of Sahar a young mother who is trying to survive the impossible with her family. Odai needs urgent surgery they cannot afford in Gaza, and must seek escaping through the border crossing (expensive) to seek care or raise enough funds for care in Gaza (very difficult with Israel's blockades.) Every donation to them is lifesaving. Odai has not been able to walk since being struck by a quad-copter that shot at him horrifically so.

1/25/2026 Update: Sahar is trying to get medications and pain killers for Odai, since the surgery is too expensive, this is all they can do to ease the pain while waiting for funding for the operation to bring Odai's walking back. I speak to them daily on BlueSky.

Lubna, Rami, naser, Eline & Kinda

Lubna (30) and her family are suffering in Gaza. Naser (4) her son, needs special medical care for stunted growth. Her husband is Rami and her daughters are Eline (7) and Kinda (2). Supporting them helps them get across the border crossing, which costs a lot to pay for if open. In the meantime, they urgently need to buy food AND seek urgent medical care for Nasser who is experiencing malnutrition and is disabled in need of care.

1/25/2026 Update: They are all still alive and suffering trying to get Naser's medications. I speak with them daily on BlueSky.

Eslam & her Family

Eslam (24) is so young and dealing with the onslaught of the genocide of Gazans while in Egypt doing all she can to help her family from abroad. They are trying to rebuild their lives, and affording to across the border into Egypt is costly for her family. Currently she is trying to simply feed them during the crisis from afar. Nobody deserves to endure this madness. Eslam is also a wonderful artist, like I am, so her story resonates with me deeply. Creative spirits - as all people are naturally - deserve freedom to express the self. Not bombardment from war.

1/25/2026 Update: We have not spoken in some time and I am seeking her out on BlueSky.

  • Sign the Open Letter to BlueSky demanding they treat Palestinians better on BlueSky. We want them to STOP banning Palestinian accounts ferociously fast, deleting their entire accounts and some being completely IP banned for supposed "Spam" (god forbid they are trying to survive a genocide?) - this practice is anti-Palestinian racism in action. Please help us call it out as such
